Job Description Print Preview About The Role We're seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with previous Manufacturing Engineer experience who wants to work with other like-minded, enthusiastic people in our team. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the analysing and optimizing production methods and workflows to maximize productivity and quality while minimizing costs. Further, you will be responsible for: - Ability to evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, efficiency, and output. - Develop and test effective automated and manual systems. - Create and maintain bills of materials and product routes in ERP. - Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources. - Integrate disparate systems (e.g., equipment handling, transport) - Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performance. - Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers. - Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations. About you We are seeking someone who has strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work well with systems and procedures. To be successful in this role you will have the following: - Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar role - Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. - Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design. - Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, LEAN and quality assurance techniques. - Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations - Well-versed in relevant software (e.g. ERP, CAD, MS Office) - Degree in Engineering; or relevant discipline preferred.
