Water-E693 Sales Engineer - Full Time - Sydney, Australia Join our Water team within Flow Equipment division in Australia as Sales Engineer to help us take Sulzer to the next level. Your main tasks and responsibilities: Take the lead in sales for the local markets of Sulzer Pumps - Water Business Unit products Planning, support and follow-up of sales activities in line with the sales strategy and defined processes. Analysis of the local market and preparation of the budget and monthly reporting to the Head of Sales. Identify new markets and business opportunities. Preparation of technical and commercial proposals in co-operation with the Tendering Team. Negotiating tender and contract terms with key accounts, to meet both client and company needs. Establishing new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers. Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events. Ensure won orders and projects are launched in a timely and professional manner. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers in order to reduce commercial risk and to maximize future business opportunities. Provide accurate and timely reports on business and marketing activities on a monthly basis. Provide accurate and timely reports inputs for budgets, forecasts and estimates. Maintain and monitor up to date knowledge of competitor products and activities. Ensure all sales processes and tools are being used properly and accurately. What you bring to Sulzer: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or similar 2 Years' experience in sales / customer service roles. 2 years' experience with Engineering (Mechanical) Strong communication skills. High level negotiation skills. High level skills in time management. Ability to engage and work with others. Travel >50% of time.
