About the Role We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cafe/Food Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food/beverages, making coffees and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our patrons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating unique and memorable experiences for our guests. This is a casual position with evening and weekend shifts. Core days Thursday - Sunday. Duties within this role include: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks, to customers in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain a clean and organised food area, including stocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order. Restaurant & Cafe service, taking orders, delivering meals, cash handling, Barista coffees Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, making recommendations and answering any questions they may have about the menu or drinks. Process payments and keep accurate records of all transactions. Adhere to NSW RSA and Food Safety standards regarding the sale and service of food and alcohol. Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures, including proper handling of food and beverages and the use of protective equipment Requirements: Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol Competency Card Ability to stand / walk for extended period of time during service At least 1 year of experience as a food attendant, barista, or similar. Knowledge of mixology and cocktail recipes, with the ability to create unique and delicious drinks. Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Knowledge of NSW regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol. Must be at least 18 years old.
