About the role: The Aircraft Maintenance Organisation plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous airworthiness, reliability, and configuration of F100, A320 & B737 aircraft, whilst satisfying regulatory and company requirements. As a LAME within the AMO team, you will be approved for the certification of aircraft maintenance in accordance with the approved System of Certification. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and be required to make determinations in regard to major defects and discrepancies, recognise and report unsafe conditions and conduct certification and supervision of maintenance tasks. You will be required to participate in the delivery of quality services whilst maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and fellow workers. About you: To do this, you will be an appropriately licensed LAME, have extensive industry experience in an aircraft line & base maintenance role with the ability to display excellent analytical skills and have demonstrated supervisory experience. You will also have a good working knowledge and commitment of HSE requirements, demonstrated experience in superior customer service practices and have the ability to communicate with all levels of the engineering team. Essential skills & experience: CASA Type rated B2 license Strong and analytical defect troubleshooting skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team Strong and analytical defect troubleshooting skills Proactive & diligent nature towards aircraft maintenance and housekeeping Sound aircraft maintenance hand skills Availability to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2days 2nights) Ability to hold a valid ASIC Ability to hold an ADA Desirable skills & experience: CASA B2 type rating on F100, A320 or B737 Ability to attend aircraft type course if required Confined Space trained You must be able to demonstrate recent certification experience of a minimum of 6 months in the preceding 2 years. This can be demonstrated through either a letter from your current/previous QA manager advising the number, type and length of QA approvals held or by submitting your current/previous employer Company Approval statement.
