EOI Systems Engineer - C4I — Melbourne, Melbourne Region

Title: EOI Systems Engineer - C4I The Company  Kellogg Brown and Root (KBR) is a leading Defence and Government professional services provider. KBR Australia has been engaged in working with Defence and Defence Industry for over 20 years and has core competencies in program and project management, engineering, asset management, integrated logistics support, procurement and training solutions, and provides in-depth expertise to a wide range of projects within the Defence sector.   The Role  This is an EOI only. KBR are seeking expressions of interest to assist the  delivery of  the LAND 121 Phase 4  project in  our  Land Vehicle  Systems Branch ( LV SB) Integrated Work Package (IWP) for Defence . Working on  technical aspects of the  project , as well as  some  people management and team leadership responsibilities in certain roles, each role will act as  a main  point of contact with the client. A focus on building relationships, managing KBR’s partnerships and maintaining client satisfaction will be key to these roles, with a view to maximising business opportunities within the agreed operating structure.   Additionally  these roles will have responsibility for budgeting and cost management of the  project , as well as  risk management, reporting, governance and quality assurance.   Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge  E xperience in  management of deliverables-based projects  Strong people management and stakeholder management skills  Demonstrated experience within Defence and/or Defence Industry  A background in engineering with relevant qualification(s)  Excellent written and verbal communication skills  Professional project management qualifications highly desirable Experience in Verification and Validation (V&V) planning and test execution (Desirable) Australian Citizen with  a current AGSVA clearance or the ability to obtain one   Benefits of KBR   KBR is committed to supporting the professional development of staff at every stage of their career through in-house training, performance rewards and structured career paths.
