Must be Sydney based; Hybrid setup (WFH 2x days onsite - Sydney CBD 2000) 12 months contract (strong potential for FT conversion) $540/day (incl. super laptop training) Looking for a Senior App Support Engineer well versed in Infrastructure support with strong Authentication skills looking to join the support team for 1 the World's leading Cloud software company based in Sydney. With RealTime Australia's successful track record of hiring several consultants for our client, we are now looking to hire an additional L3 Application Support Engineer for their Integration team. Job Title: Senior Technical Support Engineer What you'll be doing: As a Sr. TSE, you will learn & understand the client platform, cloud technologies & troubleshooting practices Work closely with customers to understand their needs and expectations & become a customer advocate providing support to users & administrators of the cloud platform. You will be assessing, troubleshooting, resolving & providing root cause analysis for product issues Have the opportunity to work towards becoming an SME in assigned areas of product functionality & use your expertise to help customers and share & deliver knowledge sessions with peers Manage & resolve challenging customer issues, providing technical guidance and be the voice of the customer into the client product and development teams for product feedback and improvements. Create scripts to automate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency. Maintain impeccable case records and documentation. Work on technical and non-technical projects. Create knowledge base materials dedicated towards operational efficiency & suggest and implement improvements to internal processes. Mentor and train team members on client platform and technologies What you'll need to be successful in this role: Experience implementing, maintaining, or supporting 3 or more of the following: Worked in an L3 or Senior Application Support / Tech Support Engineer capacity (web-based products or e-commerce) or in a software coding environment Strong LDAP, Active Directory, SSO or other Authentication or user management systems (e.g Azure AD, Okta, SAML, SiteMinder) Good experience either with Email Infrastructure (e.g. Exchange, Office 365, Postfix) or Network Infrastructure Web Services (consuming or providing) (SOAP, REST) Any bi-directional, automated integration between two systems Familiarity with 3rd party integration tools Strong ability to troubleshoot difficult technical issues with ease & complexity Nice to have skills: Experience with Relational databases (e.g MySQL, Oracle). Experience using Linux/Unix OR Microsoft Server Working knowledge of the components in a web applications stack Experience in scripting languages (e.g JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell) Data Extraction Tech (e.g JDBC, ODBC) or ETL integrations Experience providing SaaS support Good understanding of ITSM or ITIL framework Some knowledge with tools e.g Splunk, Elk, handling Network Devices & Load Balancers What awaits you: You can look forward to an exciting & innovative tech culture, state of the art facilities, very supportive environment, strong growth projectory, flexible WFH/Hybrid setup & the opportunity for perm conversion.
