We have a new role for an Infrastructure Lead Delivery Engineer to support our Operational technology in CSR's digital transformation journey. This position is focused on the delivery of IT infrastructure and services – such as data, voice, file server, desktop/printers. The Infrastructure Lead Delivery Engineer (O/T) will be involved in smooth and efficient delivery of Infrastructure related projects within the CSR IT Environment. What you'll be doing: Own & deliver multiple concurrent Infrastructure-related projects/requests across mix of internal clients but work with the support of an experienced cloud specialists, who will provide expertise when required. This is an independent role and is well suited to someone that loves driving positive technology change. Work with CSR IT's solution architect, suppliers and applications developers as required to implement required solutions. · Play an active part in developing processes and methodologies to improve Infrastructure project delivery considering agreed services levels and TCO models. · Provide Design, Installation and Support documentation to a suitable standard prior to project closure Schedule & deliver handover sessions to support teams, for new solutions Your experience 10 years in working either a Senior System Engineer or Lead Infrastructure Engineer in a similar environment. Strong project management experience working across a mixed technology matrix. Solid expertise across Microsoft infrastructure technologies (Windows Server, AD, Exchange, SCCM, Citrix/Terminal Services) supporting these from ground up. Very good understanding of network concepts (LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, switching, routing, firewall security) Solid expertise in configuration of Microsoft 365 productivity suite – Exchange Online (Hybrid), OneDrive/SharePoint, Teams, Security & Compliance Demonstrated Active Directory (AD) Management & Migration experience, in mid to large size corporations. Ideally you have supported a variety of older infrastructure technologies (Not necessarily cloud based technologies) Experience working with Azure IaaS/PaaS services. This role may suit an experienced highly skilled senior delivery infrastructure engineer with a ‘can do' attitude who is loves being hands on. You will join a friendly, supportive team who will support you in achieving realistic outcomes and you will be part of an exciting technical transformation point in the CSR business.
