About the job We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect (Azure, AWS, GCP) with Networking expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting, implementing and supporting cloud solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform and will have a strong background in networking technologies. This role will be a critical part of our technical team and will work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver and support high-quality cloud solutions to our clients. This position will also manage and support internal Azure and Network infrastructure working closely with engineers across the region. As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer, you will: Design, implement and maintain cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and other networking components. Establishes networking environment by working with regional and global engineers; managing system installation; documenting and enforcing system standards. Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with regional and global engineers on network optimization. Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business requirements and develop cloud solutions that meet their needs. Develop and maintain cloud architecture standards and best practices. Provide technical leadership and guidance to other engineers on the team. Participate in project planning and scoping, including estimating effort and providing technical solutions to complex problems. Collaborate with other teams, including infrastructure and security teams, to ensure that cloud solutions are integrated and aligned with overall technology strategies. Conduct technical reviews of cloud solutions to ensure that they meet best practices and standards. Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure and networking technologies and trends, and proactively recommend improvements to existing solutions. Required qualifications ★"To be considered for this role you will require Australian Citizenship or a Permanent Resident visa for Australia" Must have experience in planning, managing and implementing Azure networking solutions. Experience with Azure networking services, such as Azure VPN, Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Traffic Manager, and Azure Load Balancer. Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Networking Engineer Associate is a plus. You will have 5-10 Years IT experience, preferably in a Systems Engineer role specialising in Networking. Some experience with AWS Cloud Architecture and Design would be highly preferred Strong experience with networking technologies, including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and other networking components. Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements. Experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders. Cisco Certified Network Associate or Cisco Certified Network Professional certification would be highly preferred Additional Information SAS is an equal opportunity employer.
