A unique opportunity to be a hands-on engineer while also taking your first step into management and mentoring / guiding junior engineers An established R&D team are currently seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a senior role working within a team of 15 engineers, where you will be tasked with challenging new projects, as well as improving existing products on the market. To be eligible for this position, you will have excellent knowledge of embedded systems and experience developing microcontrollers using an RTOS, as well as having good communication skills and the ability to mentor mid-level engineers. You must have working rights in Australia. What's Required: 10 years embedded C / C++ knowledge Experience developing, implementing and debugging with microcontrollers (ARM desirable) using an RTOS Understanding of TCP/IP network protocols Familiarity with Python or Java Knowledge of radio / telecommunications desirable Ability to mentor junior / mid-level engineers Excellent communication skills This is a full-time, permanent position.
