This newly constructed mine site is one of Australia's largest and lowest cost gold mining operations boasting a plant production of 300,000 ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years. Role Details: Reporting to the Superintendent: Projects, you will be responsible for the effective management of civil, mechanical and infrastructure projects from concept to close out ensuring safe delivery, within procurement, budget, quality, and schedule requirements. You will be required to manage construction contractors, engineering resources and other internal and external stakeholder requirements. This role is offered on 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region. Implement monitoring and control processes managing schedule, costs, issues, risks, and changes Develop project scope and project execution / management plan Identify Stakeholders and manage interactions Handle technical queries and design requirements for project scope. Support the management of commercial arrangements and relationships between Gold Fields and suppliers. About you: Bachelor's Degree in engineering Displayed experience in mining, mechanical or civil operations in a similar role with good understanding of technologies and equipment Post graduate qualification in business or project management would be highly regarded Demonstrated level of competency in relevant software applications including Microsoft Office and SAP Ability to conceptualise project scope and to translate the scope into work packages with associated cost and schedule requirements.
