Administration Officer – John Perrett Kidney Centre Royal Melbourne Hospital winner of the Premier’s Large Health Service of the Year Award for 2022 Exciting opportunity to work in a new state of the art facility with great city views Work within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering a strong customer care focus to meet the needs of patients and their families. Part time permanent position, 3 days a week, based at the new RMH Elizabeth St campus The RMH Nephrology Department has one of the largest Dialysis and Kidney Transplant programs in Australia. The new John Perrett Kidney Centre incorporates a 15-chair satellite dialysis unit with consulting rooms located at 635 Elizabeth St, in close proximity to RMH City Campus. The centre provides holistic haemodialysis care in an outpatient setting, as well as clinic outpatient services. It is closely affiliated with services at RMH and other RMH metropolitan satellite dialysis units. Your new role: Be an integral part of the multidisciplinary clinical team providing clerical and administrative assistance Manage all aspects of outpatient clinics, including bookings, relevant data entry and any billing requirements Deliver a professional and customer focused service through excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills Work in close collaboration with patients, their families and carers, other RMH dialysis units and the broader Nephrology Service. About you: Desirable that you have completed a TAFE Accredited training course, inclusive of iPM You have relevant clerical experience and administrative skills, with a knowledge of medical terminology You have highly developed customer service and interpersonal skills You have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team with developed problem solving and prioritisation skills.
