What's the role? In your role as a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and designing robust APIs to facilitate the development of products across various platforms and digital interfaces. You will have the opportunity to redesign critical parts of the technology stack with a fresh and innovative approach. Recognizing the importance of prioritization and managing technical debt, you will optimize code to enhance availability, scalability, redundancy, performance, and recoverability. To be considered for this opportunity you must possess the following skill requirements: 5 years solid development experience with Java and NodeJS backend systems Highly experience in AWS cloud services Experience using Apache/Tomcat Java enterprise Application Server In-depth knowledge and experience in Spring IO and Hibernate 3 Experience with the use of development IDEs (e.g. Eclipse and IntelliJ) In-depth knowledge of the development and use of REST based APIs Software Engineering practices and approaches are part of your DNA, where the use of TDD, Continuous integration and build, and high coding standards are the norm, not the exception Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or relevant experience Desirable skills: Experience with NoSQL database development in ElasticSearch, DynamoDB Experience with front end technologies of javascript, CSS and HTML Knowledge of software development lifecycles methodologies, specifically Lean and Agile/Iterative approaches such as Scrum and Kanban Experience building and deploying applications using Bamboo/GIT Hands-on experience with source control and release management procedures using git/Stash Experience with Unix and Linux Systems This is a great opportunity to join a highly skilled development team who will support your growth.
