This is a crucial role within the business and will see you managing all the finance aspects for this successful team. The Position Process accounts payable invoices including contractors and consultants Manage Expenditure Approval (Purchase Order) documentation Review Accounts Payable against Expenditure Approvals (Purchase Orders) and manage cost tracking spreadsheet Prepare and issue monthly invoice packs (Accounts Payable) to clients Manage end of month and end of year returns Bank reconciliation GST returns Update monthly cashflow forecasts with actuals imported from MYOB and reconcile monthly Prepare monthly management reports covering Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Actual Cashflow (against budget) and Forecasts Prepare quarterly cashflow forecasts and annual Budget reviews Update finance procedures as needed and address any issues and obligations Support the Development Team in the administration of projects Assist with the management of electronic and hard copy filing system The Candidate Strong organisational and time management skills Intermediate-advanced Excel skills and previous experience using MYOB or similar Sound written and verbal communication skills (including reporting) Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality A "hands on" approach to work, combined with considerable personal drive Experience liaising with multiple stakeholders Proven record of successful accounts management and project reporting The Benefits Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive work environment $80,000 plus super Onsite parking Growth and learning opportunities to enhance your skills Collaborative and inclusive company culture Make a meaningful impact on projects and financial operations Flexible start time 8am-4pm or 8.30am-4.30pm or 9.00-5.00pm Office based with flexibility If you are a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of tasks, we would love to hear from you.
