PRIMARY DETAIL Opportunity to learn, grow and launch your career at Macquarie University Competitive salary with 17% super, flexible work options and a campus close to transport Full-time, continuing THE ROLE We are seeking a proactive and experienced Learning Management Systems Administrator to maintain Faculty's online learning spaces hosted on Macquarie's learning management system, learning and teaching technologies and provide support and training to staff on systems and platforms within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Reporting to the Learning Design and Production Lead, and working with learning designers, educational media production and learning management systems colleagues, this position will review, update and maintain content within learning management platforms. The role works collaboratively with stakeholders across the Faculty and the University to provide support and training to academic and professional staff in relation to systems and platforms; adopt and implement new learning, teaching and online delivery initiatives; improve administrative systems, processes and procedures, and participate in learning management system projects and working groups. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven Learning Management Systems Administrator to enhance and extend the learning and teaching excellence in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Key Accountabilities Review, update and maintain learning management platforms Develop, implement and/or improve administrative systems, processes and procedures Work collaboratively with Faculty academic staff and relevant central teams (including the Office of the PVC (L & T)) to implement improvements to online teaching content and delivery methods to enhance student experience and engagement. Provide learning and teaching support and training to academic and professional staff in relation to agreed learning management systems and platforms Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the Faculty and the University to adopt and implement new learning, teaching and online delivery initiatives. About You You will have an exceptional knowledge of and proven experience using web-based educational technology, learning management systems and student portals. Macquarie's iLearn LMS is based upon the Moodle LMS and experience of this specific platform is an advantage. Your strong relationship management skills, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, time management, organisational skills and ability to coordinate and excellent attention to detail will be key to success in this role.
