We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Cyber Security team as a Cyber Security Engineer. Reporting to the Threat Defense Senior Manager, this role will see you providing level 2 support cross-functionally for security solutions. This role is based out of our Chatswood Head Office, with 2 days WFH available each week. Participation in after hours on-call rotation when required. The ideal candidate for this role will have a balance of both technical and interpersonal skills with at least 3 years of real-world experience. You will be able to communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner across different PepsiCo functions, and will have proficiency across application and network protocols. Responsibilities About the Role: Provide level 2 support for security solutions and act as Technical Advisor for InfoSec solutions, ensuring high-quality, prompt, and efficient service Build strong relationships across the business and drive innovation cross-functionally on security engineering Support security engineering solutions as part of the Agile team Act as a coach and mentor for other security engineering team members, to build upon our fantastic organisational culture Generate, track, and monitor key metrics within Security Engineering Qualifications About you: 3 years' experience in an InfoSec role with foundational knowledge in SOC operations, IDS/IPS, and SIEM technologies Proficient in application protocols, networking protocols, development language, Linux command line environment (or Windows equivalent), with comfort analysing packet capture files in tools such as Wireshark Previous experience driving security related change, with the ability to communicate highly technical information into plain language Strong organisation, attention to detail, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills For you: We offer a competitive benefits package Access generous leave options (e.g. wellness, birthday, volunteer, purchase additional leave/cash out leave) We understand that bringing the best version of yourself to work means looking after yourself holistically.
