Job Summary In this exciting time of growth, we're currently in search of a Software Engineer to join our growing Development team here at Instaclustr. Now part of Spot by NetApp, we are a Canberra based open source as-a-service company, delivering reliability at scale. We manage cutting edge open-source technologies (Cassandra, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch and Cadence) for our customers around the world. As a Software Engineer, you'll be working within a team of between 3 and 6 team members. You will gain the opportunity to work on some truly cutting edge technologies, expanding your knowledge and learning Our development teams go on 6 month rotations to keep you motivated and excited about the work you are completing. To keep you motivated and excited about the work you are completing, our development teams work on a 6 month rotation, granting you exposure to a variety of technologies, experiences and perspectives. Job Requirements Strong experience in a language like Java, C#, C++, or Python (most of our development in Java) Commercial working experience Eagerness to learn and grow your abilities as a Software Engineer Working knowledge of SQL Tertiary qualifications in software engineering or computer science (or other related discipline) are beneficial Humble and collaborative nature, with the ability to work harmoniously within multiple teams.
