CISD currently has an opportunity for an experienced Digital Marketing & Sales Specialist to join the Caterpillar team. About the Position: The Digital Marketing & Sales Specialist focusing on Marketing Automation works closely with Construction Industries Services Division (CISD), Dealer Distribution Services (DSD), Construction Industries (CI), and Cat Dealer Leadership to drive sales with dealer marketing teams utilizing Marketing Automation targeting Retail & Small Core customers in Asia Pacific region. The position serves as the expert responsible for the development and execution of Marketing Automation initiatives to drive profitable parts and service revenue and POPS growth. The incumbent will interact with DSD, CISD field team and dealer marketing teams to develop roadmaps ensuring optimum use of Marketing Automation to deliver a best-in-class Digital Customer Experience targeting Retail & Small Core customers. The primary responsibilities for this position will be to (but not limited to): - Responsible for working with the Field Teams, Dealers, and DSD to execute marketing automation initiatives to drive sales with Retail & Small Core customers - Responsible for partnering with CISD Digital Strategist to set Marketing Automation strategic vision to ensure we best serve CI customers - Serve as a consultant for field team and Dealers on marketing automation best practice and implementation of various tools/software - Manage, facilitate, and lead onboarding for Collaborative Marketing (distributive marketing allowing dealers to utilize Caterpillar's instance of Salesforce) - Manage Collaborative Marketing Results (campaign performance and sales targets) and Growth Targets (customer activation) for Asia Pacific region - Serve as the Marketing Automation expert, monitor industry trends, and ways to stay ahead of the competition. - Provide Cat Dealer feedback to Digital Strategist to improve customer journeys and workflows - Provide guidance regarding marketing consent and best practices to target customers digitally. - Work across CISD Integrated Marketing Team to leverage existing content and identify where additional content for the Asia Pacific Region in required - Travel to Cat District Offices regularly throughout the year to align on strategy and to meet with local Dealers Must have ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences. Good human relations skills are required to develop a collaborative, cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the business unit. Generally, requires extensive travel to understand regional or worldwide business conditions. Incumbent has previous expertise within government agencies, national associations, dealers and/or customer groups. Required Skill and Experience: - 4-year University or College degree - 7 years of marketing or similar experience - Previous experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms Top Candidates Will Also Have: - Candidate must demonstrate Caterpillar's values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence and Teamwork - Ability to deal with sensitive issues, mentor and coach, and/or persuade others on new methods and new marketing technology - Self-starter and team player - Strong communication, presentation and training skills - Proficiency in data analysis - Accomplished in the use of business tools for communicating ideas - Strong project management skills - Strong B2B background excellent communication skills. - Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders at all levels - Understanding of construction industry and aftermarket solutions is preferred but not required.
