About the role Our Administration Officers provides clerical support to the Staff Specialists and Department of Medical Oncology. The Administration Officer is responsible for collating documentation, general clinic and appointment management. Your main duties will include: Exercising discretion and confidentiality when dealing with patient information. Providing administrative support to the Staff Specialists and Department of Medical Oncology. Administrative tasks include clinic management, patient administration, transcribing and new patient triaging. Scheduling and rescheduling of patient appointments and the preparation and distribution of patient referrals and relevant medical documentation and records. About you Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build relationships. Demonstrated competence in administrative and general office procedures. Experience in Audio/Dictation typing (and or equivalent), 60 words per minute. A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
