Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders along with the planning, implementation, and flawless execution of key deliverables ensuring all projects are delivered on time, to budget and in accordance to approved design specifications and compliance standards. You’ll shine here if you enjoy… Delivering new stores, refit, renovation and defit store projects. Project cost forecasting, tracking, reporting and analysis. Project tendering, negotiation and driving all required external and internal approvals. Procurement and coordination of store fit out elements. Ensuring store projects are delivered to schedule, quality and budget. All internal communications required for transparency – including cost updates, construction updates, shopping centre communications and opening date coordination with retail and store operations team. Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution. Manage contracts/agreements with key external stakeholders – including builders, contractors, sub-contractors and other vendors and suppliers - to define and determine project scope, objectives and deliverables. Conduct regular risk assessments to ensure projects are on track; determine and consult on any needs for scope or strategy adjustments. Ensuring all required certifications and compliance are followed. Resolving design and construction RFIs. Driving defects process, completion and contribution settlement. Maintaining project files, drawings and record systems. Strengthening and build contractor and supplier relationships. Ad hoc coordination and support of property maintenance. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement for future planning. We would love to hear from you if you have: 5-7 years of experience as a Retail Development Project Manager in a specialty or luxury retail environment, including supervisory and managerial experience. Building/construction knowledge/management. Demonstrated experience in managing project documentation, at ease with reading and interpreting complex design, property and leasing related contracts and agreements, and industry regulatory standards and specifications. Strong understanding of the retail market. IT capabilities across Office 365, particularly designing presentations, and project management platforms and databases. Financially accountable. Excellent communication skills and experience juggling multiple stakeholder interests. Experience using AUTOCAD advantageous.
