The Role & Responsibilities You will play a crucial role in expanding our merchant network, which includes: Accelerating merchant acquisition and trade across our platform. Implementing go-to-market plans with both existing and new merchants, emphasizing product updates and features. Acquiring new business and cultivating valuable relationships and revenue through strategic meetings and networking. Cross-selling and up-selling while building strong client relationships. Achieving weekly and quarterly KPIs while maintaining a commitment to quality in all your endeavors. Being a positive team player, fostering mutual support, and sharing innovative sales strategies. This is a hands-on role where you will develop and introduce new and exciting products to assist our merchants in running their businesses more efficiently and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will drive new business through inbound marketing leads, cold calling, and local territory targeting through various databases. Additionally, you will present a range of new features to existing merchants, designed to enhance their businesses and generate new revenue streams. You will maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders, including your sales team, CEO, heads of Product, Technology, and Support teams. This role involves face-to-face interactions with merchants and offers the flexibility to work from home to follow up on meetings and organize your day-to-day requirements. What You’ll Need to Succeed A minimum of 2 to 8 years of sales experience in hospitality software, apps, or hardware. Proven experience in achieving new business sales targets, with a strong understanding of the digital landscape, particularly digital applications for hospitality. Strong communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and uncover needs-based sales opportunities. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously. Excellent questioning techniques and relationship-building ability with clients. A proactive approach with the ability to identify new opportunities. Self-motivated and target-driven, consistently exceeding KPIs. An enthusiastic team player who motivates those around you.
