A sought-after partner in major civil project developments, with repeat business being a cornerstone of their success The Gig Due to a significant project award, a newly created role is available for a highly motivated and focused Site Engineer to join the business Your primary goal is simple - You will be accountable for providing engineering support to develop project construction methodologies; plan scopes of work, along with technical content and programs for key city projects. Working generally in the surrounding suburbs of the CBD, and reporting to a Project Manager, you will ply your trade to price, plan, schedule, review, organise and procure resources to help deliver projects for the business. You will be trusted with: Organising materials and sub-contractors as required or instructed by PM/SPE or Supervisor Assisting with job programming and resourcing Identifying opportunities and risks before commencement onsite Assisting and overseeing the implementation of HSEQ/QA in conjunction with HSEQ Administrators Scheduling, resourcing and coordinating the completion of tasks Managing QA, SWMS and Co-ordination of ITP process Assisting with design change and methodology Proactively recommending changes to ensure quality delivery of engineering projects Monitoring work progress - Proactively identifying and rectifying problems Assisting the development of construction methodologies, staging, sequencing, and programming of civil projects Site planning, interpreting design to establish all required internal or Customer supplied materials What’s In Your Toolbox? You will have at least 1 year experience as a Civil Engineer, hold an Engineering degree, have a strong knowledge base of the civil construction industry.
