About you We are looking for a New Equipment Sales Consultant to be based in our office in Mascot. Sydney. You will be responsible for selling the Electra Lift range of New Equipment products and developing good relationships with our customers in a competitive environment. This is a permanent role and reports to the General Manager of Electra Lift. As a New Equipment Sales Consultant, your key responsibilities are to - Generate New Equipment sales leads from construction lead indicators, industry reports, tenders, personal sales research and customer networks. - Determine client requirements and design parameters quickly to configure Electra lift products/solutions and be able to assist in the development of the future construction projects to maximise Electra's opportunity to secure new business. - Develop and implement strategy to maximise Electra Lift opportunities for acceptance of proposals. - Conduct negotiations with clients, gaining progressive support from local management and Support Departments depending on the size of the project. - Interact with various teams and stakeholders within Electra Lift to develop sales strategies, value propositions and manage the sales through Electra Lift's sales processes. - Maintain a sound knowledge of Electra Lift and its competitor's product range, the building and construction industry, relevant codes and contract practices to competently deal with building owners, agents, architects, builders, consultants, developers and statutory authorities. What You will need to be successful - Have sales experience within Lift or Engineering industry (preferred) with exposure to selling services to building owners, property, and strata management companies. - Experience in contract management, negotiation and compliance will be an added advantage. - Have a proven sales track record for developing and selling deals, coupled with proactive call plan creation. - Is customer-centric with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Has good knowledge in using technology including mobile applications and computer-based reporting systems (Word, Excel, Email, Internet, database management) to analyze data and trends. - Have exceptional organizations and time management skills. - Hold a valid driver's license.
