Exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Area Sales Manager covering Metro and Regional areas in Victoria Our client, one of the most well-known Carpet manufacturers in Australia offering flooring solutions for residential, commercial and industrial areas is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to primarily cover the Victorian Western and Northern metropolitan and regional areas, including Geelong, Bellarine, Western District, Wimmera, Mallee and Ballarat regions. Key Responsibilities: Effective call cycle/customer management Demonstrate sales leadership focusing on year-on-year account growth with key accounts Development and maintenance of strong relationships with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners Contribute to the overall sales success by implementing sales strategies and action plans Provide an end-to-end "solutions-focused" service experience to all accounts Take on and manage accounts as nominated by the Sales Manager Key Requirements: Demonstrated experience managing accounts Great verbal and written communication skills Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong, personable relationships Strong commercial acumen and a high negotiating ability The successful candidate will be required to travel locally and interstate In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics The successful applicant will be rewarded with a competitive salary package including car allowance. Applicants from similar aligned representative roles will be highly regarded, however not essential as on the job training, support and guidance will be provided as part of the successful applicant's professional development.
