The Opportunity At Samsung, we are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Business Innovation team as a Sales Operations Analyst. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive data analyses and provide valuable business insights to enhance our operational capabilities. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the business, presenting your insights and recommendations to support informed decision-making. Additionally, you will actively participate in projects aligned with our team's objectives, ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives. To excel in this role, you must possess a natural curiosity and a strong desire to continuously develop your skills through in-depth analysis and understanding. Your goal will be to identify areas for refinement and improvement, ultimately optimising our ways of working. Role and Responsibilities Retail/Channel Innovation Project Management Gather and analyse retail channel data to identify opportunities to improve performance of Samsung products across our channels, and internal operations Develop strategies, manage and support various innovation projects to drive retail performance and improve our partnership with Retail channels Collaborate with National Account Managers, Field Team Managers and Product Managers to implement opportunities and projects Collaborative Demand Forecasting & Planning Work with National Account Managers and customer counter parties to guide weekly Customer Sell-out forecast and Customer Order forecast Analyse historical sell-out and channel inventory performance to recommend future forecast Provide key analytical support & recommendations to internal/external stakeholders for continuous business operation improvement Ensure accurate and up-to-date retail channel data to enable effectively and timely analysis and insights Guide customers with up to date supply and order status Channel & store level sales & inventory optimisation Perform store level diagnostic analyses to address potential missed sales opportunities Analyse store inventory inefficiency and articulate to internal/external stakeholders to have optimal store level inventory Review store/SKU level sales efficiency and provide recommendations to internal/external stakeholders on next steps Retail Store KPI Management Oversee corporate Retail KPIs such as store level aging inventory, sales/inventory efficiency, stock-outs, sales conversion, etc. Initiate KPI improvement plans engaging with internal/external stakeholders such as retail marketing/sales team/field team/customers Create and manage BI reporting & dashboards to monitor KPI performance Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field 5 years in similar role Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets Advanced Excel and Power Point skills Experience in data visualisation & BI tools would be preferred (e.g. Tableau or similar) Experience in statistical analysis tools such as R or Python would be highly desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively present insights and recommendations to stakeholders Proactive and self-motivated with a natural curiosity to explore deeper analysis Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment What sets us apart from the rest?
