The role The Senior UX Designer provides design expertise within our growing CX practice at YVW. In this role, you will design simple, elegant, intuitive user interactions and interfaces that enrich the digital customer experience, optimise service delivery and deliver measurable results. A collaborative role that will impact our entire business, with a strong focus on championing the needs of our customers and supporting the company in achieving its strategic objectives. What will I be doing? In the first six months, you will lead UX design work on critical digital transformation projects like My Account, Land Development and Digital Metering. Tasks include: Influence key stakeholders, including product owners, to drive better customer outcomes Work with service designers to understand the end-to-end omnichannel experience, developing user flows that reflect desirability-viability and feasibility. Translate the defined user experience into UI design Create wireframes and prototypes at different levels of fidelity Plan and execute Usability Testing and iterate designs Work in collaboration with developers to understand system/technical limitations (feasibility of designs) and apply them to designs. Provide advice on benchmarking and best practice Deliver high-quality and consistent design components for our digital products and services with clear handovers for development Lead stakeholder walk-throughs of designs Supporting the development of our team Design Ops. Tasks include: Lead rituals and work with the CX team to improve them. Present and participate in design critique sessions. Bring best practices and advocate for them across the business Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Design Language System, design standards and documentation of business discovery and UX research findings Why Yarra Valley Water?
