Role description: The ability to conduct structural designs on various type of structures, mostly in the infrastructure/transportation and marine environment, and have the ability to multi-task the day-to-day work across the multi-disciplinary functional design teams. Role accountabilities: Deliver designs, technical reports and specifications for clients Work in collaboration with other design teams and disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design Review and ensure compliance in all aspects of the projects to be delivered Coordinate and engage with the Global Excellence Centres (GECs) and other Australian offices in the east coast, as key members and resources of the project team Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Qualifications & Experience: 4 years' experience in Structural engineering Demonstrated design experience on infrastructure projects such as rail, roads, bridges, cut and cover tunnels, retaining walls, culverts, foundations and general structures. Experience in marine structures would be an advantage Experience on projects for MRWA or PTA or similar from other States is desirable High-level proficiency in the use of structural analysis and design software such as Midas Civil, SpaceGass and Autodesk Structural Bridge Design (ASBD) is strongly preferred A focus on quality and an awareness of technical risk assessments Sound communication ability and experience with multi-disciplinary teams Why Arcadis?
