About The Role As a Cloud Engineer you have the opportunity to work alongside some incredible developers and CyberSec experts in the field, whilst using your DevOps skills to automate build systems, set-up alert and monitoring systems, have a say on the security posture and build deployment tools. Furthermore, your work will be deployed in incredibly high traffic environments that’s expected to hit over 20 million daily users within the next 5 years. About You You will be curious, open-minded, dependable, customer-focused and an ethical problem-solver. You will be equipped with a strong analytical mindset and passion for attention to detail. You will have experience operating in Agile environments. Your unique DNA will highlight something approximating obsessive attention to continuously improving monitoring systems, delivery frameworks, automating tasks, and improving the way in which the work of your current and future customers is delivered. Experience 4 years in a hands-on DevOps role in the IT Industry (mid-level position, early or mid-career opportunity) Recent extensive experience in Cloud Engineering DevOps experience within a SaaS environment Desired and beneficial skills Worked on on-premises, public and hybrid cloud environments Experience with DevOps monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana or similar Some input into project estimation, planning and end-to-end delivery experience Automation of infrastructure provisioning IAAS/PAAS Designing and providing significant input into technical solutions Experience with designing and implementing solutions across the breadth of AWS Services or other 3rd party cloud providers Desirables: Delivery services - AWS CloudFormation, AWS Code Build and AWS CodePipeline Security and Governance - IAM, KMS, Config, CloudTrail and SecurityHub Development – EventBridge, Lambda, SNS and SQS Compute and Storage – ECS, EKS, EC2, RDS and S3 Operations – CloudWatch (Logs and Metrics) and Xray Agile experience, iterative delivery, continuous collaboration with Dev/Test/Ops AWS Certifications are highly regarded Why join this startup?
