THE OPPORTUNITY TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry expertise in Animal Care to join our team of teachers. The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. In the role you will have sound and up-to-date knowledge of your subject areas, reflecting current industry practice to construct and guide the educative process. You will deliver face-to-face and facilitate practical learning. ABOUT YOU To be successful in the role, you will need: • Certificate III or higher in an animal care qualification • Have a minimum of three years relevant and current post qualification experience in the animal care industry • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent, or, Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education • Current knowledge of the animal care industry • Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills applicable to an educational setting For further information regarding the role please review the Position Description and Information Package .
