Job DescriptionReporting into the Groups Sales and Services Manager, you will be responsible for providing a dedicated service to groups interested in and travelling to our parks and resorts. The role will involve timely responses to the enquiries made relating to group accommodation with a goal of offering a solution that results in the conversion of the booking.You will contribute to NRMA Parks and Resorts overall performance by developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, focusing on conversions and growing the opportunity for groups across the greater NRMA Holiday Parks network, and building repeat patronage and optimum service.Key deliverables include:Identify opportunities, generate new enquiries, secure repeat business, and maintain the sales pipeline for group business opportunitiesResponsible for quoting and conversion of bookings for your allocation portfolioReview forecasts and apply sales strategies to meet shortfalls Adopt cross selling techniques across all parks and resortsAttend industry networking and tradeshows where requiredCompile and provide reports on activities as requiredEnsure all sales processes and client communications are centrally managed through booking platform (Ivvy) and outstanding tasks are managed daily.Establish and grow a portfolio of clients QualificationsDemonstrated experience in managing the full Group Bookings processA track record of lead generation and building business across managed accountsUnderstanding of sales process and conversion tacticsExperience in a customer service/sales roleAbility to coach peers and influence stakeholdersRelevant tertiary qualifications in Tourism/ Hospitality or equivalent (desirable)Knowledge of group booking systems, specifically Ivvy (desirable)Well-developed sales, verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organisation and work with people from diverse backgroundsStrong organisation/time management skills Additional InformationThe Perks:NRMA Group Benefits, Blue membership, Roadside Assist, Discounted insurance and moreGreat team cultureAccommodation discounts to Park locations across AustraliaPlease Note: All successful candidates at NRMA Parks and Resorts will be subject to a mandatory pre-employment screening process.
