Role Impact As a Sales Development Representative, you will build key relationships, identify opportunities, all whilst maintaining knowledge of current market conditions and having a good understanding of the technology available. You are responsible for account-based prospecting and qualification. Qualifying prospects to a sales engagement level, driving up the pipeline, and supporting sales through to won revenue. Crucially maintaining the client relationship through the buyers' journey, especially to triage protracted sales cycles. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be focused on increasing Pitney Bowes market position primarily by: Research and build out of prospects and accounts by vertical and or product/solution; Support sales teams to drive growth in our Business Automation solutions portfolio. Capability to build and nurture using multiple targets and campaigns through intelligent martech stack; Develop a thorough understanding of Pitney Bowes' solutions and be able to communicate it accurately over the phone and in writing. Utilise prospecting software such as Outreach, Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Leadfeeder, LeadIQ and outsourced customer databases to create lists, develop sequenced tasks to target and nurture prospects. Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services. Secure qualified meetings and attend them alongside the Strategic Growth team to ensure seamless customer experience. Stay current with new product knowledge, technology, services, and industry developments. Cultivate a measurement and feedback loop to product marketing to inform and validate offerings. Experience & Skills Experience in Sales, Sales Development, Telesales, or Lead Generation experience is ideal Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques. Track record of achieving sales objectives. Experience with prospecting software (e.g. Outreach). Excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to deliver engaging presentations. Ability to support build and nurture relationships with prospects of all levels of authority. Inquisitive, logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Collaborative working style and team player. Ability to effectively work in an agile work environment using a variety of communication tools to engage with Clients and Prospects and with other Pitney Bowes resources, working in a non-typical office environment remotely.
