Within our engineering team, this position involves applying your knowledge to solve challenges, while also contributing to the creation of 2D and 3D designs and drawings that adhere to both industry standards and client requirements. This role merges your technical principles and practices to give form to your designs. Your responsibilities in this role will include: Designing standardized, elegant, and easily manufacturable product concepts, while generating 3D models and engineering drawings using SolidWorks 3D Modelling software. Presenting this information to customers for approval of designs. Ensuring that you are leading your career development by collaborating with the wider engineering team on projects, Configuring and customising our design to meet the requirements for customer orders. Assist with processing of manufacturing paperwork and assisting factory staff with process improvement and finding solutions to manufacturing issues. About You To be considered for this role, you will possess: A keen interest in mechanical design and the inner workings of fluid dynamics, A Mechanical Engineering Degree (or similar), SolidWorks modelling experience, Simulation (FEA) experience would be highly regarded, Be enthusiastic, willing to learn, and work as a part of a team.
