Role description: Due to the growing needs in our Urban Development & Regeneration business, we are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our Brisbane team to deliver land development projects with a focus on residential greenfield, urban regeneration, industrial, roads and public infrastructure projects. Role accountabilities: Providing technical advice and direction to project team members on day-to-day delivery of urban development engineering designs, as well as meeting agreed budgetary, quality, safety and timeframe targets. Managing selected designs and teams to develop and implement the highest level of technical delivery through effective review process while exceeding client expectations. Preparing design calculations, drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation as required in line with company and client requirements as well as national standards and codes of practice. Building effective and enduring relationships with our other teams and technical disciplines, and external organisations to foster co-operation and maximize our technical offering to ensure the integrity and quality of the overall design. Managing subconsultants, quality assurance, client feedback and ensure effective communication of any changes/modifications. Managing involvement and inclusion of our interstate and overseas teams by ensuring a seamless part of our service offering. Inputs to the formulation of technical proposals and their presentation to potential Clients. Qualifications & Experience: First and foremost, you share our passion for improving the quality of life. You are a degree-qualified engineering professional with a passion for sharing your knowledge and experience within a team striving for high performance outcomes. You will come to us with: Relevant Engineering degree and/ or qualifications; Demonstrated civil engineering experience gained across urban development projects working in Australia; Experience in Civil 3D, 12D and DRAINS will be advantageous; Possess strong communication and report writing skills; and Excellent client-focus and a sound technical know-how will propel you in sustaining a successful role and contributing in Arcadis' success.
