We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Inside Sales Representative to join our Research & Development team in Sydney or Melbourne (with other locations in AUS being considered for the right candidate). Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) holds a key Research and Development market with considerable growth in the Biotech space. As an Inside Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in connecting our solutions with the needs of our biotech clients. You will liaise with new clients, identify, have presales discussions and transfer opportunities to our ANZ field sales team. This role offers highly valuable biotech exposure and the ability to keep developing your skillset into a Business Development or Field Sales position in the future. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with prospective clients through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings to understand their clinical research needs and challenges. - Surpass or exceed monthly sales targets through collaborative efforts with multiple field sales representatives. Enhances the sales procedure by evaluating diverse customer pipelines and identifying new customer prospects - Identify novel sales prospects, formulating well-informed decisions and recommendations for management regarding sales targeting. Takes a proactive role in guiding leads through the entire sales cycle - Build strong, lasting relationships with clients by providing expert guidance, offering tailored solutions, and addressing inquiries promptly. - Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and conversions in our CRM system. - Partners closely with the designated Business Development Manager or various field sales representatives to devise comprehensive customer account strategies, maximizing opportunities and generating sales engagement - Staying up to date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to position our offerings effectively in the market. Key requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences, biomedical sciences, or a related discipline. - 1-3 years of inside sales experience, preferably in the clinical research sector. - Strong understanding of clinical research processes, protocols, and terminology. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and confidently. - Proficient in cold calling potential sales prospects, adept at generating sales leads, and skilled in organizing and prioritizing individual work - Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools. - Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently. - Willingness to travel occasionally for client visits and industry events.
