2 positions available / One year fixed term contracts, approx. 0.3-0.8 FTE each We are seeking two specialist teachers to take on part-time teaching loads with a focus on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with the possibility of also teaching some Biology lessons. The successful applicants will be team players with all-round excellent communication skills, possess a love of teaching, have a generally positive attitude and outlook, and are able to set boundaries with empathy and respect for students, colleagues and the parent community. Key selection criteria: Eligibility for Teacher Registration in South Australia Suitable qualifications in Physics, Chemistry and/or Math teaching at a Secondary level Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, colleagues and the wider community Enthusiasm for teaching in a progressive Waldorf school Demonstrated ability to confidently manage and cater for different learning needs Demonstrated commitment to working collegially and professionally with strong teamwork skills Commitment to the principle of ongoing teacher development both professionally and personally Ability to set boundaries with empathy and respect for students, colleagues and the parent community An affinity with anthroposophy and overall strong commitment to Steiner Education (desirable) Must hold a current Working with Children Check as well as provide/obtain RRHAN-EC and Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting training certificates.
