We are looking for a suitably qualified Construction Team Leader/Plant Operator to join the team. You will be responsible for providing specialised services in the coordination of construction projects and activities, such as roads & footpaths. In addition, the successful candidate will have advanced skills and knowledge using various systems, materials, techniques in coordinating and organising programmed works.The successful applicant will have: The ability to give support to other team members and to work as an integral member of the Works Centre and Council. Skills sufficient to write detailed correspondence or standard reports that document facts, for example, risk assessments, incident, and insurance report forms. Sound communication skills, with the ability to be able to deal with the general public and other Council customers in an effective and efficient manner. Understanding and knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and experience with Safe Operating Procedures (SOPS).Qualifications required: Certificate IV (Trade Level) in Civil or Building Construction or other relevant fields and extensive work experience.
