About this opportunity Working in either Day, Afternoon or Night Shift, the Operator role will cover 24/5 operations at this Greenfields, state of the art rPET recycling facility. The Operator will be trained efficiently in areas such as Quality and WHSE. The operator role will play a key role in delivering a Continuous Improvement mindset and initiatives to process 28,000 tonnes of baled post-consumer PET per annum for conversion into food grade rPET resin. Your key responsibilities will be to: Comply with WHSE procedures and directions and follow reasonable instructions, always working towards Goal Zero. Actively participate in all Company training on Quality Policies and Procedures and always upholding those standards Contribute to product quality through inspection and testing where specified on Operators Instruction sheets. Advise Supervisors or Technicians promptly of WHSE, Quality, Maintenance or People issues. Housekeeping of workstations during shift, with a final clean up at the end of the shift. Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you'll have: Experience in operating high-reach and counterbalance forklifts. Experience in loading/unloading trucks. Physically fit and able to do manual tasks. Store person, warehouse, manufacturing experience preferred. Experience in handling dangerous goods preferred. Dangerous goods handling training can be provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment safely, effectively and productively. Have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment. Superior communication skills. Demonstrated experience of working within & actively contributing to a Continuous Improvement environment Qualifications Current Forklift License Additional Information
