The General Medicine service at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is committed to providing outstanding patient care. In 2023 we are introducing a new, contemporary model for Allied Health in General Medicine to redefine care for our patients and the experience of our highly regarded team across 7 days. A significant growth in dedicated staffing will support service enhancement and deliver a career structure to develop specialist clinical, research, education and leadership skills for Allied Health working in General Medicine. We are looking for new Allied Health professionals to join our highly experienced and skilled team in delivering this new 7-day Allied Health service. We need dynamic Senior Clinicians, passionate clinician-researchers, junior staff who want to develop in an inspiring environment and clinicians who want to make a difference in our General Medicine Units every day. There has never been a better time to join us Your new role: Lead a culture of excellence in patient care in the expanded general medicine team, and the social work department. Provide clinical leadership in social work and complex care. You will be well supported by the Social Work Leaders (Grades 3 and 4), Social Work and Diversity Manager, and the Social Work team. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders (both internal and external to the organisation) and provide representation on relevant committees.
