This highly regarded national firm is looking for a Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join their personal injury team in Perth. You will be involved in the area of personal injury law. The Perth Office provides representation to survivors of historical child sexual abuse. The team works directly with clients providing them with the highest levels of service. This is a rapidly evolving area of law. You will be engaged in matters that may progress to trial. You will work collaboratively with the firm’s Perth and Melbourne Offices. In Perth you will work closely with 2 experienced lawyers, a law clerk and a legal assistant. The team are all very engaging and work well together. For most of your files, you will generally be looking after that file along with an experienced lawyer. In your role you will work directly with clients, the courts and medical professionals and ensure that your files progress smoothly and on deadlines. The firm has modern offices, excellent processes and uses LEAP Software. The firm is ideally looking for an experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal with previous experience in personal injury law or commercial litigation. You will enjoy working collaboratively with a friendly team and will have strong organisation and time management skills. You will be adaptable and happy to pitch in where required.
