Moderna is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for our Melbourne facility. This crucial role involves supporting the design, development, and implementation of SAP EWM in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. As a key player in the Supply Chain strategy, you will collaborate cross-functionally to align data, processes, and technology, playing a pivotal role in shaping supply chain solutions in a fast-paced environment. Here's What You'll Do Within 3 Months, You Will… Define the best design and architecture of EWM in partnership with global stakeholders. Begin as the key contact for Moderna Resilience sites for direct purchasing & warehousing departments. Start engineering, enhancing, and supporting the current EWM solution and its integration with MES (Syncade). Within 6 Months, You Will… Support the Odyssey program (SAP greenfield implementation at Moderna), ensuring design alignment with the team. Lead the design and implementation of SAP EWM on future internal manufacturing Moderna sites globally, contributing significantly to the Resilience program. Engage in data analysis, program debugging, and report writing. Within 12 Months, You Will… Complete the implementation of SAP EWM and logistics activities for internal manufacturing sites under the Resilience program. Provide comprehensive business analysis and SAP ERP S/4 system support for the supply chain units in a clinical and commercial drugs manufacturing environment. Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications) 8 years of experience in the design, configuration and testing of solutions across an SAP system. Experience in the following submodules: EWM and/or WM / HUM SAP modules Inventory management (IM) Direct Purchasing (MM) Logistics execution (LG / LE) - Intra and Intercompany stock transfers PP-PI and QM Integration with MES and SAP EWM Experience in a regulated environment such as Pharma/Medical device guided by TGA, FDA, Health Canada, MHRA. Here's What You'll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications) Multiple years of experience engaging with business partners. Experience with proposing functional solutions to developers when writing functional specs. Experience with drug product serialization and serialization software is a plus.
