Our brand encompasses a diverse range of entities, including Winning Appliances, Appliances Online, Winning Services, Home Clearance, Rogerseller, and Ora, all of which are committed to delivering excellence to our valued customers.Job DescriptionReporting into DC Supervisor and/or the DC Team Leader, the DC Team Member is responsible for daily DC operations including picking, unloading, loading and counting products with a continual focus on Safety, Service, Cost and Team.Position ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all incidents/injuries, near misses, and hazards are reported in a timely manner to the DC Manager.Handle products in line with safety and handling induction and training.Adhere to WH&S policies and procedures.Responsible for ensuring that all people on-site at the DC follow all relevant Safe Working Practices (SWPs) in accordance with the National Safety Plan. Ensure the right training and processes are in place to minimise incidents/injuries.Process stock received into the warehouse as per company procedures.Transfer stock to designated storage areas as per company procedures.Pick stock to picking lanes as per company procedure.Conduct cycle counts.Perform any other suitable duties as requested by Supervisors or Managers in other areas of the business including but not limited to cleaning, receiving, returns, dispatch and administration.Work as part of a dynamic Team to build better and safer procedures.Build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.Ensure good housekeeping including cleaning floors, racking etc.Use of mechanical handling equipment with appropriate training and licences.Ensure accuracy of the product against picking instructions to ensure the customer gets what they ordered. Looking up missing parts.Wrapping of stock. Cleaning products.Testing units.Sorting work floor for the day.Putting stock away.
