ABOUT THE ROLE Working as part of the distribution team operations, the Warehouse PM Shift 2nd In Charge will be integral to the afternoon shift. Handling all aspects of the warehouse process, including container unpacks, stock allocation, stock picking, dispatch coordination, and guiding a small team of 7. Working with sensitive cargo, attention to detail, and precision will be critical attributes for the successful candidate. DUTIES Prioritise orders for the picking, collating, checking, and palletising in readiness for their collection. Ensures the accuracy of all stock items such that respective physical stock levels reflect those in the operating system. Ensures all goods are suitably packed and labelled (Con Notes, etc.), and secure before pickup to mitigate any damage, loss or injury whilst in transit ahead of delivery to their destination. Managing incoming goods, ensuring each product is inspected, receipted, and appropriately stored away. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Must be collaborative in nature yet have tenacity and drive. Many decisions will be made in a team environment. Licensed and proficient forklift operator. Highly motivated, self-directed and has good time management skills. Experience in food manufacturing is an advantage Has an eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate and complete records.
