Position Summary We are seeking applications from experienced Project Engineers to complement our highly skilled team in Jandakot, Western Australia. The Jandakot facility contains a state-of-the-art workshop and a dynamic engineering team and workshop technician pool. The Project Engineer is an integral member of the operations team. The position is designed to be a focal point to ensure that project scopes are specified, manufactured, tested and installed to meet operational objectives, company, national and international standards. Duties & Responsibilities The main responsibilities of the role are: Actively work with our Design Engineering Team and other stakeholders to rapidly design and build needs-driven prototypes and products; Building unique prototypes and testing setups; Sourcing and evaluate different components; Coordinating and supervision of equipment assembly, through to testing, mobilisation and installation. Developing, proposing, and executing solutions to subsea problems on varied timelines, complexity, and magnitude with Safety, Environment, Customer and Cost in mind; Create and review technical proposals, specifications and reports. Working safely and promote Oceaneering's strong safety culture among colleagues and clients. "We always work safely no matter the constraints". Qualifications Qualifications and Training Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering from a recognised institution; Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in a project environment (in any role). Other Requirements, Skills, and Aptitudes Motivated, driven, can-do and curious; Hands-on experience either within the workplace or through outside interests. Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems and respond to situations with or without guidance. Knowledge of API/ISO/DNV standards related to subsea equipment and equipment installation; Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment, remaining attentive to ideas, recognising responsibilities and actively collaborate with others to accomplish assignments and achieve desired goals; Familiar with QA/QC systems and procedures; High level of written and verbal communication in English; Proficient in computer use (CAD experience beneficial); Knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry.
