About the role The Assistant Registrar (Legal) role sits within the Commercial Court Registry (CCR) of the Supreme Court of Victoria. The CCR delivers high quality, innovative, responsive and flexible support to the judiciary and members of the legal profession. Assistant Registrars (Legal) provide legal support to the Judicial Registrar, Associate Judges and Judges of the Commercial Court and contribute to the development and reform of Commercial Court processes. The role is also responsible for triaging and managing urgent applications. Assistant Registrars (Legal) undertake a variety of written work to assist judicial officers, including writing case summaries and detailed analysis of legislation, precedents and legal developments as needed.
