About the roleThis position is situated within the West Perth office and may require some limited travel to other locations as needed to support the WA Services team.The Administration Officer WA is responsible for managing the provision of administration support to the WA Services and administration teams.The Administration Officer WA is part of the WA Services team and reports to the Executive Assistant Western Australia (WA) & Northern Territory (NT).Establish, improve, and manage administration systems that support the delivery of high-quality services to vulnerable children, young people, and their families. This is a Full-time opportunity based in West Perth WA within our Western Australia (WA) Services Program. The position reports to the Executive Assistant Western Australia (WA) and Northern Territory (NT). Key Selection Criteria:To be successful in this role, you will have:A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.Demonstrated high-level administrative experience.High skill levels around the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), as well as Outlook and Teams.The ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary, professional team.A high level of initiative, ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks, and work to tight deadlines under pressure.Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills.The ability to interpret and implement organisational policy.
