The main responsibilities include achieving sales budget for Eastern Victoria and Tasmania allocated by enhancing key customer relationships and strong implementation. This role will also assist in maintaining communication and partnership with brand partners at state level. The role has eventuated from an internal career promotion and as such is a full time role commencing in a 3 month initial contract with the view to become permanent for the successful candidate. Key Deliverables: • Ownership/expansion of state dealer network for the above 3 focus categories • Development/management of state dealer support structure and enhance relationships • Drive sales within territory with single-minded focus to achieve target, increase gross profit, optimise ROI and time management • Input/research into possible new product ideas/business opportunities in collaboration with marketing and product team • Develop/conduct product training for dealer base • Input into & implement national and customised promotional/merchandising initiatives • Ensure profitability of the business is maintained • Grow existing and prospective new customers • Track/analyse/report business/market/competitor trends to state/national management Requirements: • Ability to travel to customers in above listed region • Ability to collaborate with multiple parties from inside and outside the company to achieve the desired outcomes • Excellent verbal communication skills • Ambition and a desire to succeed • Exposure to either retail or trade (automotive would be favourable) • Attending Trade events and hosting stands at exhibitions and conferences. • Developing growth plans for current business and identifying new businesses • Managing and nurturing relationships with existing customers • Develop/conduct product training for dealer base • Input/research potential product ideas/business opportunities • Input into & implement national and customized promotional/merchandising initiatives Apply now.
