About the role We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our Melbourne based team in Oakleigh. Reporting to the Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor this role will be responsible for a range of activities that support the operations team to ensure the effective utilisation of machinery, the maintenance and improvement of facilities, the coordination of contractors and administrative support to enable the operations team and wider site to function efficiently and adequately. You will be: - Working as part of a multi-disciplined team, completing maintenance on a range of machinery, infrastructure and facilities in a factory and warehouse environment - Completing electrical breakdown, preventative maintenance and system checks as per our preventative maintenance schedule - Performing effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units - Ensuring that all electrical equipment and installations are safe and compliant to WHS and Quality standards - Providing diagnostic and troubleshooting support of PLC systems - Installing and connecting electrical components and wiring into electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components - Supporting the Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor in planning, scheduling and executing maintenance activity including annual shutdown maintenance About you As an integral part of the team within a wider business, you will be a clear communicator and an effective team player that can manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously to achieve the required outcomes. The successful candidate will: - Hold an electrical A-Grade qualification with all current certificates - Have experience conducting breakdown and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing environment - Possess PLC diagnostic and programming skills - Have experience in a manufacturing environment working with automated machinery and have experience within a similar role - Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work - Be diligent and thorough in carrying out tasks and completing records including lodging ESV certificates - Have an uncompromising safety first and zero harm perspective - Have true leadership potential and are hungry to achieve goals - Always looking for how to turn 'good' into 'great' by doing - Honest and hold themselves accountable In Return We are a global company with a diverse range of opportunities both locally and abroad, with an ongoing training program.
