We boldly go. Job Summary: Trane in South Australia is hiring for a Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for developing long-term customer relationships and maximizing account penetration and customer retention by developing HVAC system related solutions. Responsibilities: · As a Sales manager, grow the install base in South Australia to continue the substantial growth in the region · Work along side other Sales Managers as part of a strong team - Generate estimates and proposals for service work under the direction of the Sales Managers. - Prepare transition documents and communicate project readiness for assignment to operations team. - Work cohesively in a team as well as on your own - Comfortable speaking to wide audience, such as consultants and contractors equally · Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions; moving mechanical parts; heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Minimum one (1) year experience in Account Management, Mechanical Contracting/HVAC or Facilities Management fields preferred. - Working knowledge of HVAC systems preferred. · Must possess a valid driver's license .
