Full Time or Part Time (0.6FTE) ongoing position Salary based on experience, range: $59,877 - $74,919 plus super (pro rata) Attractive employee benefits including salary packaging and hybrid work About the role: Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is currently seeking dedicated Legal Assistants to join our passionate and collaborative Bendigo Office. Reporting to the Administration Services Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of our client services. You will triage client queries at court and in the office, as well as provide information and referrals to the public, legal practitioners and other community services. You will also support our team through client data entry, file management, preparation of legal documents and some roles will also include front-desk reception duties. This presents an outstanding opportunity for individuals possessing well-developed organisational and time management abilities. We are seeking two Legal Assistants: 1 x full time position available. 1 x part time (0.6 FTE) position available. About you: As our ideal candidate, you bring: Experience in providing administrative support, ideally gained within a legal environment, and/or the ability to provide client focused services in a complex, confidential and sensitive environment. Strong organisational, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise workloads, meet timelines and work under pressure to ensure efficient and effective delivery of VLA services.
