Role description: Due to continued work and commencement of new projects, our Urban Development & Regeneration division is looking for a Senior Civil Designer to help us ensure project delivery across a range of sectors. Role accountabilities: Providing quality delivery of the designs using Civil 3D or 12D; Successfully manage, plan, resource and complete assigned modelling projects within agreed budgets and deadlines; Assisting the Project Manager in determining the drafting & other design resources required for a project plan including elements suitable for outsourcing; Ensuring the production of project documents that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project; Resolving complex technical drafting and design issues; and Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Project Managers, Design Engineers and drafters within other disciplines. Qualifications & Experience: Relevant Engineering degree and/ or certifications; Demonstrated years of industry experience in the application of Civil 3D or 12D software using your in-depth knowledge of civil design standards; Design knowledge in road design, earthworks / grading design and utilities design. Excellent client-focus and a sound technical know-how; Ability to develop elements of design from concept sketches to detailed drawings; and A high attention to details and ability to deliver quality output within the timeline.
