About the role The Warehouse & Procurement Supervisor is primarily responsible for the efficient operation of the national spare parts warehouse, centralised purchase ordering and submitting invoices for payment and general purchasing administration. This role is currently based in Wentworth Point but will shortly be moving to Blacktown. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise all aspects of the national warehouse, including, but not limited to, inventory management, staff, and working with key internal stakeholders - Provide coaching & leadership for warehouse staff - Ensure accurate & efficient receiving and dispatching of goods - Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently - Control the purchasing process for local and interstate branches - Provide concise administration of purchasing documents - Liaise with suppliers - Assist other staff as required Requirements: - Demonstrated experience in warehousing management - Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet) and previous experience using inventory control systems - Ability to foster change and promote and implement improvement - High attention to detail - A positive and proactive attitude and the ability to work within a collaborative team environment - Strong and effective communication skills - Forklift license or a willingness to get one Benefits We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all our employees and enhancing our programs when necessary. - Attractive salary package Supportive team environment - Excellent job stability with a focus on career progression - Training and development opportunities including access to Carriers' Online Learning Platform Our commitment to you Our greatest assets are the expertise, creativity, and passion of our employees.
